Mr Pheasant

Today's the day ......................... for a happy ending

This blip today is for my Grandson Dominic - so that he can see that his beloved Mr Pheasant is fully restored to his former glorious self.

We're not sure what happened to him back in the summer but he did look rather sorry for himself without a tail.  Amazingly, he could still fly - although you would think it might be quite tricky to steer yourself without the aid of a rudder?!  

He comes to visit quite often so we have been able to watch the slow growth of those tail feathers - and today, he looked in fine fettle ...............
