Canoe day

J and E went to your horse live today. Gave toby a few choices of activity and he chose canoe. Good choice! 

Perfect calm, trees in amazing colours and hardly anyone about. Paddled from the hope and anchor pub through watermead, hoped to do the loop on the old River soar but the river looked a bit low at the portage so didn't risk it. 

Did 5 miles in all, with no river assistance, no flow in the sections were did. Both of us aching now. Toby fell asleep on the sofa when we got home!
