Happy Birthday

Lucy's birthday, 4 today. 

A reasonable day at work, then hightailing it out of there to make the 'party' just before 4pm. Everyone else had been there since 2:30pm. 

A bit full on, and a bit forced- I couldn't help but think she'd have had more fun with her own friends than us. 

A bit high on sugar, she opened the door to greet me and didn't even say hello, just squealed the words "more presents !". 

My sister made her a nice cake - Paw Patrol, and gave me a little care package of vanilla buttercream!
