Spelling Sunday

A bit of a grumpy day today. It started off ok, with a nice lie-in, but then after I popped out to pick up some groceries in the drizzle, I noticed that the front driver side of my car had obviously been hit, with the plastic above the wheel arch falling off.... Pissed off indeed. I had the misfortune to park in a pub car park last night, and can only conclude that it happened there, as I've hardly been anywhere else. I know my insurance will take care of it, but it's the brazenness, and injustice of somebody just backing into it and going "oh well, it's not mine" ! That's makes twice that my car had been damaged whilst it's been parked- once was even in my own cul-de-sac last year! 

Lucy came over and I was pretty ratty, but she gave me lots of hugs and told me to take some 'birthday cake breaths' to calm down. I've got so much on that I think this was the tipping point! 

We had a quick play with the match and spell game that I bought her, and played with the teds. We ended with a dance party- some Taylor Swift and the Hustle- she's really good at the dance now! 

I tried to finish my assignment this evening but I'm filled with doubts I've done it right. I'm starting not to care....
