Remembrance Sunday

The church was bedecked today with knitted poppies of various colours. They added to the moving services.

Afterwards, the continuing mild weather allowed several hours to be spent in the garden finishing planting the bulbs and tidying up for the winter. The lemon trees are back in the greenhouse. The begonias have been lifted and brought inside. And the dead vegetation tidied up. Still more to do but if the forecast remains true there will be more opportunities during the week.
