Autumn

We took our usual pilgrimage over to check on the house today.  It looks as though there isn't much to do - I think they're waiting for an inspection. There is running water, no appliances yet, but all the floors are in and I was very disappointed to see that the carpet had not been covered and they're still sanding dry wall plaster so needless to say, it looked really dirty. Hope they're going to do something to clean it before we move in.  We'll probably change it soon enough anyway because it's just builder's grade, not the best quality.  Letting go - it will work out.

Anyway, we discovered that there's a Cultural Arts Center in town and they have many classes and events there.  Looking forward to that.  I caught sight of this "path" from the car and when we walked up to it, realized it was someone's back yard - no walk happening here.

Otherwise just a restful day of catching up with stuff that needed to be done. Tonight we'll be going to a guitar concert at the University.  Should be interesting.
