Mama Turtle

I was doing my usual photography duties on the beach in Puerto Vallarta when I came across this mama turtle laying her eggs. So much work for her to move enough sand to keep her eggs safe. The beach patrol kept everyone at a respectful distance. She did her thing and headed back to the water. The turtle conservation group was there a short time later to dig up the eggs and move them to a safer environ.
