Pelican Moon

We walked along the beach into the village this morning. On the way I photographed a group of four pelicans preening. This evening, three of the four took to the sky and circled over our place, weaving and swooping, and seemingly revelling in their flying skills. Maybe they were inspired by the almost full moon.
