They're BACK!!!!!

Yippee!!!

A few weeks ago, Glenn and I drove out to the egret nesting area where I photographed them MANY many times last year only to find not a one egret :(
I was sad thinking that they had moved to a different nesting area. Decided to drive out again today to double check and to my glee, THEY WERE THERE!!! Lots of them! All the pairs getting nests ready for their eggs. Ohhhh....I am so happy! Now I am really going to work on getting that new super zoom lens I have my eye on. If you would like to see more of them from today, you can start here. Most are converted to B&W or sepia as it was middle of an absolutely perfect sunny warm day and they were quite harsh. But, I don't care cuz I'm so happy they are here!!! :o)

A few days ago I posted a photo of a ship at night. "B" was the name. Well, to show you just how large the ship is I took THIS PHOTO from the other side of the bay today. That white spot to the left and down is a car to give you perspective. I am surprised it is still being loaded with logs as they usually are in and out quickly.

I have backblipped a few photos because I wanted to force the issue of my 365 so I can have Sunday to do it. I don't know what I will do but at least I will have all day to think about it because NO WORK! (well, maybe just a couple hours late late in the day to get ready for the week :) Oh, what to doooo......

Gosh, it was a nice day today. So much enjoyed our drive together. Lifted my spirits :) The store did fabulous to end our month on a positive note!
