Bracken

As the leaves come off the trees the browns of autumn are almost away, apart from on some hillsides where the bracken is dying back , but is still not entirely finished.  

Looking at the hills it is easy to spot where the continuing infestations of this fast growing invasive weed still are, and how hard it is to limit its spread, not least because it discourages the growth of anything else around it.
