Wooden man

COP26 has been in the city for a week, but has totally passed me by, apart from police vans heading out from the city, there has been no evidence of anything happening here in the suburbs.

However, great excitement tonight, as I was meeting an old uni friend who was up for COP in town for drinks. I expected the city centre to be mobbed, but it was incredibly quiet, more like a wet Monday night than a Saturday.
We had a few drinks in Sloans, then popped into the Corinthian for a bit of Glasgow being, but most of the bars were closed and the music in the main room was far too loud.
The evening finished as all good nights out in Glasgow should, with a Blue Lagoon fish supper, eaten in the taxi queue.
