Picnic Day

Picnic day for our family of four and look at the view, pretty awesome - more like a summers day than autumn. Huge clouds rolled on through, looking a little thunderous but came to nothing, leaving Akaroa Harbour glistening in the light.

It was busy, people everywhere, cafes completely full, picnic areas full, no parking and not much room along the waterfront - we ventured past Akaroa over the hill to a nice quiet bay and sat amongst the rocks watching boats coming in from the sea heading for the harbour, yachts sailing by with their colourful sails, it was so peaceful after the hustle and bustle of the waterfront.

Now ready to flop, put my legs up and have a cuppa with the rest of the family in front of the TV.
