Still harvesting

Today started with the arrival of the man from Orange, and unlike last time, they actually sent someone who could do the job! He connected us up to fibre optic internet, so we can watch You Tube for the first time ever in this house, and can be connected in every room of the house and gîte, even without the extender they supplied!
We also got our Covid booster shots, half a dose of Modena and no flu shot for two weeks as it’s very strong they said!  We weren’t once asked if we were healthy today, which is a basic requirement for having any vaccine, but maybe that’s the case when a non- nurse or doctor is trained up to give injections here?
The photo shows the harvester which cuts the sweet corn, and the kernels are separated from the cobs, they fly up the spot and drop into the trailer on the back of the tractor.
