Mist in the Valley

Been to Kendal today to visit relations, it was rainy and foggy all the way there on the M6 and the A road from Shap. Had a lovely few hours with a fish and chip carry out lunch. Came back through the lakes still wet and foggy. So no pictures.
As we drove along the A66 by Bassenthwaite  the fog lifted and it looked quite sunny towards the coast, when we got home the sky was blue and the mist was settling along the river Derwent at the back of our house.
