1st Big Covid Day Out

2 years ago had a bad cold, 1 year ago Covid lockdown was on, finally after 2 years we gratefully accepted this long-standing invite to lunch for our birthdays.

9:59 train to London. Straight to the lunch venue. And spent a few hours feasting on exquisite food, and wine, in great company.

Had a wander round Bond Street and Mayfair (elegant areas of London), took this pic of one of many sumptuously decorated stores. London is magical pre-Christmas.

Now on train back. Should arrive in 10 mns. Will sleep well tonight. Tomorrow life returns to normal.
