Wet!

Yesterday we broke all records for the most rain in a day here in Bellingham WA. It rained 2.78 inches. The previous record was .88 inches. We didn’t just break the record we clobbered it. Today Shelly and I had to back track a couple of times driving to get his X-ray and doing some errands due to flooding. (The news is good. He’s healing well and everything is in place where it should be. Glad of that.) Today it continued to rain but much more lightly. It cleared up and I took a walk along the Interurban Trail behind our condo complex. The trail to Fairhaven Park was flooded and the rushing water took a chunk out of the main trail. When I got there the water was no longer going over the trail and cutting into the creekside but you could see where it had been. More photos in the extras.
