Lobo

A gray wolf that is common to southern New Mexico, is also the University of New Mexico's mascot.  Although this one has unusual colors, you will see these statues all over Albuquerque.

Also, common and popular to the southwest, is the band Calexico.  Always under the radar, the band continues to play since it's inception back in 1994.  They will play in Europe all of 2022, so check them out!
