It’s The Little Things

I returned from walking Paddy to find that the very nice post lady, (she keeps dog treats in her pocket), had delivered this in a small padded envelope.
Although I originally arrived in the Royal Navy at the ‘dark side’ I was there waiting to cross the road to HMS Fisgard.
Affectionately known by all who passed through as the ‘college of knowledge’, (it had a host of names unprintable here from those who never went there), the Association has had these badges made and issued to all members.
I shall wear mine with pride.

Today has been a recovery day, aside from taking Joshua shopping I have done little else. Dinner this evening was chilli, cooked by Joshua, and very, very nice it was, the maple syrup giving it a touch of sweetness and a bit of a punch.

Paddy is well pleased with his metre of 1.5 inch rope tied in knots, it’s kept him amused for hours.
