Worcester

Out and about with friends. We’ve been visiting them near Worcester for over 25 years but haven’t till now visited the Cathedral.
It’s hard to say just what it is about it that left me a little cold. The individual elements are often rather good (the effigies on the tombs are fab, and I hadn’t realised that King John and Prince Arthur are buried here). I think it’s the late Victorian restoration. However (there’s a big however) the crypt is exceptionally old and very gorgeous.
Also headed out this afternoon to look at Coombe Panoramic Tower and the view of course.
