Caught at his desk

Another kitchen-based day, baking the cake that will sit on top of the cupcake tower, and producing three flavours of buttercream. I also had a long telephone conversation with Chris and Lizzy about the schedle  for Saturday and who's taking which photographs. I think I know what I'm doing now!

This is one of the only shots I took today, trying out a new lighting system, which should ensure I get reasonable shots of the bridal preparations, whatever the ambient light is like. The final preparations are taking place at the Orton Hall Hotel, which I haven't visited so I have no idea what I might have to deal with. I surprised Pete at his desk, but at least I got a smile!
