Happy hubby

Nice walk before breakfast, down by the river. We then went into Hexham for a bit of a shop and hubby wanted to go to the charity bookshops, which he did and made purchase in one of them. We looked into a retro clothes shop and discovered the attic is a record shop, vinyl and cds, he was delighted and made a couple of purchases.
Off to Nero for a coffee and when we got there a notice on the door informed us that there was only one person working today and she was on her break for 30 minutes. As the door was open we went in and waited for a few minutes until she returned. Rather strange I thought to pop upstairs for a break and leave the door open, very trusting.
Took Hetty down the river and through the woods for an afternoon walk.
Noticed the village Christmas tree had been delivered but just laying on the grass waiting to be put up, seems a bit early but might be blipping later in the week.
