Sea & City

I don’t get to see the sea very often living where I do, slap bang in the middle of England so it is always a pleasure to walk along any bit of coast even if it is a grey day.

It’s my dad’s birthday today and I took this on the prom at Kirkcaldy as the two of us walked there before having a breakfast muffin.

Later in the day, hubby and I said farewell and drove down to Manchester for a work day for him tomorrow.

Extra is the view from our hotel room which overlooks Piccadilly Gardens. It’s a busy bustling place full of shops and restaurants.
Glad the hotel has good double glazing - can’t hear a thing!

So I started the day near the sea and ended it in the middle of a city centre.
Prefer the sea air.
