Stoic Beauty

The light and shadows called to me today. The trees seemed so stoic today. A bare frame enduring the extremes of Maine weather, all while remaining incredibly beautiful and picturesque. They reminded me of early works by Ansel Adams. His images first caught my eye in a High School photography class. I loved the contrast, composition and angles that he captured.
