One day after...HELL.

It is absolutely unbelievable what 24 hours of an atmospheric river ( 10 inches of rain in some areas) can do to our beautiful province...winds up to 120 k/hour people evacuated as there is no clean drinking water...store shelves are now getting empty as there are no roads from the coast and our major supply chain..people still without power..


Two of our children didn't get power back on until early this morning...we thought they might all come over to our place but they managed to make it work.
There is a theory that the summer forest fires have hardened the ground..and the big rains just ran down the hills...

We are the lucky ones...just look at today's blip..now with some fresh snow on the mountains..and I took a walk with Doug..we are so fortunate.
