Two-tone Beauty

It was a really warm day with no wind and around 27c. I managed to get the lawns mowed as they had grown so much from three weeks ago, when my son mowed them. Also did some gardening but not as much as I would have liked to have got done.

This Bearded Iris my cousin gave me for my birthday when I bought this place in Akaroa. Most years I miss seeing it flower, so have marked it as the patch where I have the Irises is getting overgrown and will have to remove some. This Iris doesn't seem to have multiplied like the rest of them as I only noticed this one in flower.
