Glamping
Following the Family Wedding which left suprisingly un-hungover (must have been all that Ceilidh dancing) we set off for part 2 of our Scottich Highland adventure; Glamping at Glen Affrich.
A gorgeous drive along the Loch Ness Tourist Route led us into a tiny village called Cannich, where this Wooden pod would be home for the next 4 days.
After filling our tummies with Panini and warming us with Coffee we headed off for a drive to check out the area. Well It's Beautiful! We stopped for a pint in the local pub (and were the only people in there!) Its definately quiet season, reckon we may pretty much have the place to ourselves!
We then set off to collect some firewood and went back to camp.
The luxury of the pod is it has power sockets and a heater which will be needed when the temperature is dropping to -5 overnight! A raclette dinner and a few wines sat around the campfire enjoying the peace and quiet, the only sounds are the the owls hooting!
