Autumn Sunrise, Dishley Pool

Awake at 6.30 thinking this is a great opportunity to go and visit Dishley Pool in the hope of seeing mist rising from the water. How wrong could I be? A gentle breeze and relatively high temperatures overnight completely put paid to that.

So here are sunrise reflections in the surface of the pool, and a moorhen chugging by.

Off to watch Carmen, performed by OperaNorth at Nottingham's Theatre Royal tonight. It will be my first time on the tram in two years, in sh'Allah.
