A Shed Load of Help

An Englishman's House Shed is his Castle and here in Northallerton, as in nearly 600 other locations around the UK, it is a shared Castle.

Men's Sheds is a registered charity supporting men's health and wellbeing through a network of communal sheds where they can learn or share skills with others. 

Today I visited the local Shed to check it out. I will be joining. I plan to share my own skills and learn some new ones. Many of the tools available I had before I moved. My new garage is for my classic car and retro caravan, no room for big woodworking machines or welders, hence they all got passed on before I came north. 

Today wasn't an open day but a member was in cleaning so I had a look around. One of the community projects being done at the moment is giving Santa's sleigh a major overhaul. It looks like it will be at its best in time for Christmas Eve...
