Aftermath

Yesterday evening at the photo society seemed to go OK and wasn't too embarrassing. I was fessing up to being a victim of the desirability to go analogue and take up film photography. I explained that my own experience is that digital is much more versatile and economical.

On the other hand, there is something about the creamy mystical quality of printed images from film. That got a lot of discussion going which made it a lively evening.

Today there was bright sunshine on the canal with occasional smoke from fires enhancing the scene. Very picturesque. When I got back Mrs S and I had to nip up to London and we managed to do the whole round trip, driving , in 3 hours which was pretty good going.
