Lunch time walk
Persuaded the husband to go out for a lunch time walk - the long way around town, finishing off with collecting the car from the garage as I was certain it was ready (so he could afford the longer walk time-wise). I was in trouble when it wasn't ready! Although I did manage to get them to deliver it back to us rather than having to collect it. The amount of money I seem to be spending at the garage then it's probably the least I should expect (I'm the owner of a brand new drive shaft, of all the things I've ever wanted..)
I did get a snap of us, or tried to.
Park after school with a lovely group of mums. One is quite ill and is awaiting a kidney transplant, which puts life into perspective. We all had a lovely time. Home, tears because swimming was 'cancelled' this evening (it wasn't, but the youngest has a bad cough and the eldest is sooooo tired at the moment. And I was in London this evening, requiring the neighbour to drive the boys and husband to swimming, but her car is also at the garage - you can see why there was a white lie about the cancellation!)
Trip to London was a waste of time, as I'd organised a meeting that three people turned up to on zoom as a last minute request and the two others didn't turn up at all. So annoying.
Today I'm grateful for:
Sunshine lunch time walk
Some lovely mums to meet with
Sleep for the eldest!
