Welsh memories

These two little bits of Wales hang in our bedroom window. The shell heart from Conwy, surrounding the embroidered sheep heart from Aberystwyth. We spend a lot of time in Wales and have missed being there as much as usual since the start of the pandemic. Although I am a Yorkshire woman through and through, my husband despite being born and brought up in Cheshire is of Welsh heritage and my mother in law spoke Welsh fluently.
