Boiling Point

After the glamour (!) of two nights on the Caledonian Sleeper it will be nice to sleep in a bed that isn't 2" shorter than me tonight.

Still, yesterday proved worthwhile.  I had to be a bit cryptic about what I was doing in yesterday's blip because we were waiting on DCMS putting press releases out to make things official.  That's done now, so I can say the meeting I was at in the morning G7 Safety Tech Summit was held yesterday, where I was speaking on behalf of the Online Safety Tech Industry Association which I chair.  In the afternoon we met with the minister as my company was one of those awarded funding to help create new technology to improve child safety online.

Still, as my mother would say it's "back to porridge and old clothes" now and I'm making some pasta for dinner...
