Autumn

Or Fall as they call it in foreign climes.  The second half of the day was a lot more relaxing than the first half, so after navigating a few issues around BG, we managed to start a day off by eating at a new brunch place nearby - nothing special but we both had a variation of eggs benedict.

Then off to BG for an espresso a great chat with one of our team who I finally managed to ask about which pronouns they preferred (they/them for now) and a walk in the park above where autumn was in full force.  Extra of the turning leaves which I thought was rather seasonal.  Then after a plate of leftover vegetarian dishes and the last 2 episodes of Maid, which we both enjoyed a lot, especially with its very sensitive depiction of emotional abuse even gently dealing with the abuser and with some very touching scenes.
