Lush green manure

I was very late to sow autumn green manure (mostly phacelia and mustard) and didn't think it'd put on much growth before the cold weather but I knew it'd still make a good ground cover.

So it's a nice surprise to see it's done really well and is doing its job of protecting the soil and preventing weed growth. In the past I've even had some green manure that's survived light frosts so there's a chance it could continue growing for a little while.
