Female Sparrow

This beautifully marked female Sparrow was happily eating on the feeder.
I was reading only yesterday that House Sparrows are in such serious decline (up to 60% down in towns and cities), that they are red-listed as a species of high conservation concern!
I'll have to make sure my feeders are full over the winter then!!
