It’s all too exciting

Vintage hearses. New statues. Ice rinks. And sunshine too.

Lovely day for a funeral. Although this strikes me as a tad ostentatious and not quite in keeping with the roundabout, the supermarket, the McDonalds drive-thru and the petrol station that form the backdrop.

I called into Ivy’s for coffee. A man was sitting there with a woman and a baby. He was doing a presentation on Zoom and it was very annoying, firstly because it was intrusive, secondly because he had a loud voice, and lastly because it was an IT presentation and full of silly phrases that are incomprehensible to normal human beings.

Work  is a struggle. I’m bored. And when I’m bored I eat. The rest is predictable. Determined not to put weight back on though.

Change of venue for my lunchtime coffee today. Wonder if they missed me at the bookshop. Nah …
