A face at the window
A trip to RHS Bridgewater this morning.
A grey drizzly day, but that also meant it was reasonably quiet. We hadn’t realised that tickets have to be booked in advance again as Bridgewater is attracting lots of people and Salford Covid rates remain high but as it was quiet we were allowed in. It won’t be like that tonight - the first night of “Glow” when the gardens are lit up at night. It’s a complete sell out every night apparently.
We had an interesting stroll. I can remember the glasshouses being entirely derelict prior to the RHS carrying out the amazing restoration and redesign. I walked through a section and took this image of some squashes, with J looking in from the outside.
