The Phoenix Rises

The dreaded day

The MonStar  goes into training  and we said goodbye. The question  everyone  asks is, 'How can you do it, give them up?'
Today I couldn't  have answered that.

Here she is, desperate  to get into the training  centre at Forfar. She would just sit for a millisecond, so the planned photo  was curtailed  to this effort. Her bag with her toys, card and drugs were on The Bench dedicated to Scottish Puppy Walkers, outside the entrance. Her mind was already inside the centre with all those smells emanating from it. Mine was.at the end of the lead.

After a brief meeting with her trainer, she never looked  back and was gone.

Luckily I had a positive thing to look forward to. A visit to the working dog, the Bonnie Prince. He was stunning. A fabulous,  if not the best Guide dog his new owner has ever had and that is a few of them.

Then home to the wee lonesome pup, who'd  had a play date with Murray monstar. She was shattered, but howled for cuddles.  I wonder why? Did she know her big sis was gone?
