Award for bravery
Yesterday’s boot was constructed in situ. This meant quite a bit of leg and foot manipulation
I had all the pain killers standing by didn’t use any.
Later in the day the plaster team sent me a sticker, a certificate and this teddy bear “for being so brave “
Actually I think it because I cried like a baby.
Salisbury and the surrounding area has a very close connection to the Army. In fact the Odstock Hospital was originally built by US forces during the Second World War
The teddy bear may be a new way of rewarding military personnel for acts of bravery and may be rolled out across the forces.
