Watching and waiting

This heron is generally in the same spot every day as we take our pre-work walk each morning.   He (she?) always looks a bit glum and hunched up.

Thank goodness it's Friday.  It's been a busy week and I feel a wee bit like the heron - done and ready for the weekend.
