Arena Exhibition

Today we went into Chichester to catch the Arena Photographers Exhibition at the Oxmarket.   As usual a selection of very different and inspiring images, this time from ten of their members.  Afterwards we went to see a French film that was showing at New Park Cinema entitled "Promesses".   Totally gripping - all about the mayor of a Paris suburb battling to get the money to refurbish a block of slum flats in her area.   I think that Isabelle Huppert, who played the mayor, is one of the best French actresses  - I can remember seeing her in one of her early films back in the days when I was a student in Paris.
