Cormorant

Photo taken very quickly while the cormorant was on the water rather than under it!  You watch the birds dive but have no idea where they will resurface.

Not a goose to be seen or heard while I walked round the Heritage Park loch. The swan family is still complete with the five youngsters gradually looking more and more like their parents as their feathers slowly turn white. It won’t be too many weeks till the parents chase their five youngsters away from the loch to seek their own new home.
