Vivian Maier exhibition

At Musée du Luxembourg in Paris. Tickets on internet were sold out, but there was no problem and no queue to get in, although the exhibition was quite crowded. Even too crowded for what I prefer.

I have to admit that the story of Vivian Maier (the secret photographer) and how her work made it to the public is fascinating (link to the story). I wasn't really convinced by the exhibition itself. May be the selection of prints, printed quotes from other famous people not directly related to her work, too many people ... or many blippers that could show a similar portfolio but don't have the reputation (yet).

Afterwards a lunch in an art nouveau brasserie. As a main we had the dish of the day and the 'pièce du boucher' was enormous, enough for lunch and dinner.

Then a quick visit to the LBM to have a look at the Christmas decoration (in the extra).
