On the boardwalk

Riverside Park sitting alongside the river Wey near Guildford is a nature reserve where they've built a boardwalk that snakes through ponds and reed beds. Later in the year it will be alive with all manner of birds and wildlife, but we didn't see much in the way of wildlife today, apart from a few teal on the lake. It's funny to think that such a peaceful haven exists only a few hundred yards from the busy A3.
