Friday: Horse Chestnut

I had woken up a little too early this morning but it was a beautiful dawn.
Weather went downhill, cloudy all morning then early afternoon it started raining which carried on until dark.
I was glad I’d had an hour or so in the garden, transplanted Broccoli “Hungry Gap” and some seedlings of flowers for wildlife. MrD cut the grass which had lots of fallen leaves, good for the compost bin & garden - maybe last cut until Spring?
