Saint James

Went to visit friend who is having to stay in due to hip pain after a fall. She's understandably fed up.
Later went on to Saint James to check it out. Lots of things going on and it looked attractive. Went into a restaurant which was packed but I was the only one who who chose to sit outside. Lovely sunshine outside so a great idea. The food was excellent value for a 13,50 € menu. A good introduction to the town.

Then had a look in the secondhand shop next door which had some fascinating things.

On to a PMU bar to buy my month's Loto ticket. Another welcoming easy place.

Impressive

Although I get fed up with driving around, I'm very lucky to have such incredibly beautiful countryside and sunshine.

Cold this evening, but the new hot water bottles are great.
