Very pensive

Very light traffic today so despite leaving a little later, I arrived at ‘work’ earlier than yesterday!

Our new heaters (installed yesterday by the lovely Lee) helped take the chill off the air this morning but as the temperature is poised to plummet this weekend I’m not sure they will be as effective next week.

Today’s volunteers were our 3rd group from the same company and worked just as hard as their colleagues so we achieved another great total for the day.

As Santa was arriving at the shopping centre tonight we took the opportunity to head home early at 4.30. I was very glad as it’s been a tiring week. I’m sure I’ll be more in the swing if things next week.

Home to wait for our son and his girlfriend to arrive with their dog Henry. They head off to Florida on the early flight to London tomorrow morning so Mr PHL will be on primary dog watch. hopefully Henry will settle without them - fingers crossed.
