Melrose Abbey

Busy day today. In the morning we drove to Gala to buy household items for son no 1, go to a bank and get some Christmas food. We dropped stuff off at Mr P’s art studio en route.
On to Melrose for a snack lunch and then drove up to Edinburgh to visit Dan.
We hadn’t seen him since his cycling accident so very relieved to see that he’s made a full recovery. He and I did some more local shopping and then we treated him to a meal at a local Nepalese/Indian restaurant in Meadowbank. It was excellent value.
