Windswept

We have been feeling a little more than a bit windswept (fragile actually) all day after great evening (very late night/early morning) spent with neighbours, Toby (4 1/2 months!) and his parents!! And then the clocks went forward which lost us even more shuteye!!

S, W & Toby came round again this morning for coffee and W & Mr. T attempted some model helicopter flying in the field next door - the wind was far too strong for even Mr. T's superb piloting skills and sadly T managed to crash W's helicopter and break one of the rotor blades!! T was not to be outdone in showing his prowess so we all piled into our cars and whizzed off to the proper flying field where T showed off with one of the larger planes which could withstand the elements a little better - even this plane sustained a bit of damage when the cockpit flew off and the pilot (plastic) ejected the aircraft.

Whilst the men were doing their thing, Sarah and I went for a sedate walk with Toby in the pram; well wrapped up against the really cold wind today, and this pony looked alot more attractive with its windblown mane than we did!!

When it just got too cold we all repaired to our favourite family-run Garden Centre for afternoon tea on this beautiful, if not very cold, Easter Sunday.

We've all had a lovely day and I feel marginally better after all that fresh air!!
