Late Bloomer

A red Camellia is new to me, but thanks to SimiSue, I am informed.  These flowers looked a lot bigger last weekend - I think this is the last of them as we are actually supposed to get a frost next Tuesday, but today was a beautiful day.  

I've been kept busy the last couple of days with preparations for and the arrival of Ben.  He's going to be staying here in Wilmington for a bit. He's got his own place to stay but getting settled takes a village.  He'll be spending much of his time looking for a job and navigating.
